Nestlé USA focuses on Health & Wellness by Cutting Sodium In Pizza & Snacks as well Removing Artificial Flavours.

Nestle USA intends to induce health in its product range across six brands in the USA: Digiorno, Tombstone, California pizza kitchen, Jacks, Hot Pockests and Lean Pockets.

By the end of 2015, Nestlé Plans to:

  • Removed artificial flavors from every product within these brands.
  • Reduce sodium by 10%  in these brands.
  • Incorporated guidance tools on packaging to help educate consumers on choosing appropriate portion sizes and the importance of eating vegetables and fruits as part of a balanced diet.

These changes build on Nestlé’s ongoing efforts to improve the nutritional and ingredient profile of its products while maintaining the great taste consumers expect.
